Fire Works

So I am learning that although lots of fun, Fireworks at 11:00 at night make for some really overly tired kids.

Not much energy by the end of the night. These are there face during the show. Kinda funny.

new hang out spot

This is the space under my sewing/project area and when I am in this room working away this is what I found Lincoln doing. I ran and grabbed my Camera. He looked a lot cuter when I first glanced down at him. Now he just seems uncomfortable.

Practice hopefully make perfect

We are trying to practice how to be reverent before we head off to church. Any other ideas on how to keep kids in the chapel and reverent during sacrament meeting??

They seem to get the idea and then when we get there it all goes out the window.

Finally a new post on My Project blog

It's hard enough to keep up one blog, so after I don't know more than a year for sure, I have a few things I have worked on posted on there. But I am also in the process of quite a few more projects so stay tuned.

What do we do all day???

Well for starters Lincoln finds things to put on his head.
And then runs like a mad man all over the house.

McKayla practices her talents of bubble hair dues.

And more hats. Lincoln just LOVES hats.

Trying out new poses. When we start taking Pictures of Lincoln McKayla whips out new poses so we will take pictures of her too.

So I was experimenting with my camera after learning some things from a photographer in my ward.

She showed us some techniques that foces on the person and fades everything else around you.

McKayla worked hard on this zoo and was excited when she got all the animals to fit on this chair. Tadah!

Peek-a-boo Lincoln.

We played some kick ball here is Lincoln's attempt.

Go McKayla. She actually did pretty good.

Happy 8th Anniversary

So This year Dev' and I were able to spend a whole day and evening together. It was perfect. First thing we did was go to Le Cafe De Paris for breakfast. So good. It is located Downtown Boise.
So after that we went around the greenbelt on roller blades that goes along the Boise River. There are bridges about every mile so it was fun to cross over everytime.

Then we went and got a couples massage but we don't need to see the picture of that. Later that night we chose to go to Cheese Cake factory To get their yummy avocado egg rolls and awesome lettuce wraps. Oh and of course Cheese cake as well.
We went to a movie later and it was a perfect way to end such an eventful day. Devin and I had never laughed so hard in the theater. Happy Anniversary Dev'. These 8 years have been a blast being married to you and the best 9 years of my life.

McCall

We went to McCall for memorial weekend. We went swimming at the club house and walked down by the lake although very cold. The kids didn't care. So we came back and cranked up the fire place. I didn't mention that it is June now right. You can't tell very well in this picture but Lincoln is doing one of his wow faces.

Poor little guy. We didn't plan very well for the cold weather so Lincoln was forced to where McKayla's pink cardigan.

McKayla and her cousin Ellie. They make a great team.

Graduation

Lincoln Wannabe preschool graduate

No this is not a 2 headed monster. I am under there some where McKayla's dress was just so fluffy.

Randomness

I think McKayla got board with her own dress-ups and went looking in Devin's Closet. She came out looking like this. She was trying to look like a boy. She even stuffed her hair up in the hat. I told her she is much too beautiful, that even in boys clothes she is much too girlie. Hopefully this was just a one time thing.

I guess when you give a child some chocolate even if it is as small as a Hershey kiss they still manage to rub it all over them selves.
