More Silliness

Lincoln apparently remembers all the time he spent in a bouncer because one day he brings McKayla'a Doll bouncer out to me in the kitchen and plops right on it and just thought it was so fun. And I thought he was so funny, good thing my camera was right next to me when he did it.

Say CHEEEEEEZE!

So McKayla use this play phone that has a button that make the pretend sound for taking pictures. And goes around the house trying to find people to "say cheese" to the camera. Mean While Lincoln's favorite thing to ask for is Cheese. He signs it with his hands and says EEZ. So to put that combination together McKayla finally got Lincoln to give the cheesiet face ever. More funny than anything. So I caught a couple of the times she got him to do it.

Also Lincoln's favorite thing right now is to carry a ball with him every where he goes. And it doesn't matter what kind or how BIG or how small it may be. He loves them. And I love that I didn't have to teach it to him. Because I know nothing when it comes to all the boys things.

Fun times with Dad

Lincoln loves to hang out with Devin while he is in his Music room.

Monte L Bean Science Museum

We had to get in some fun while Daddy was busy with Young Ambassadors rehearsals. And I had totally forgotten about the Bean Museum. The kids loved it. And the lady that introduced some of the animals was fantastic. I was even entertained. She allowed the kids to pretend they were turtles by hiding under a turtle shell and see how small they are compared to an elephant by climbing inside the foot of one. And of course we had to get a snap shot of the famous Liger.

I love to see the Temple...

I was excited to take the kids around Temple Square while Devin was rehearsing for his Young Ambassadors Reunion Fireside that night. It was fun to be there although McKayla was a little disappointed we couldn't get closer than that to the Temple itself. But that will give us another reason to go again and something to look forward to.

What was I thinking??

You would think when I was making all of McKayla's dress up's I would have made a PINK one. For a while now McKayla has been begging for a PINK sleeping beauty dress. I figured it had been long enough since I sewed a project. Of course she likes to wear it with ALL of her tutu's on at the same time underneath the dress so she can just rest her arms right on top of the poof. I guess when I did the others I was just using up all my leftover scraps. But no little girls wardrobe is complete without a pink dress. Happy half birthday I guess.

Beautiful

St. George didn't let me down. Warm weather in the 60's the whole week, no clouds and just beautiful blue skies. I loved it. Although my kids and I got sick I was only under a couple of days but McKayla was coughing and then fever for several days. Lincoln was Mr. runny nose the whole time. But the worst is sharing a room with a child coughing all night and then crying about it. I felt bad there wasn't more I could do. Until I finally had Devin call in a prescription for an antibiotic at the end of the trip. But at least we were able to see some people. I sadly didn't get around to everyone. Kind of a bummer. But I just keep telling myself I will be back down in May and I might even be there for 3 weeks. So better luck next time.

Heads Up! For the week of the 15th

For all you St. George Friends. I am coming to Town. Devin has a reunion in Northern Utah and it is too hard to drive that far and not go the rest of the way to my sunny St. George. It better not let me down, I am ready for some enjoyable outside weather. And a week will go by fast but would love to see everyone I can. Let me know if you are around and available. I am so excited to be back down there. If feels my soul with joy to be there. I truly think, for me at least, that it is one of the happiest place to be. You can't help but feel happiness there. I am just glad my family still lives there and I get to visit such a wonderful place.
