A 1st for everything

I don't know why every dad feels they need to do this with their child. I guess to prove their fatherhood and to show off their many talents or something. Oh well it makes for a fun picture in any case.

Devin and I had tickets to go see the musical How the GRINCH stole Christmas. We decided that it would be fun for McKayla to go
and see it for her first Broadway experience.

I am really kind of sad to see Lincoln sitting in the Bumbo seat. He is growing up way to fast. He is already 3 months old.

Trick or Treat

McKayla in front of our friends house the Olsons. Next to their amazing pumpkins. Good Job!
McKayla was a Fairy Princess this year. Her wings are on upside down, oh well she didn't care.

She was soo excited for all the treats. Of course what little 3 year old isn't.

Our Friends, The Austins and the Burnhams dressed up so cute as characters from the cartoon "Flinstones". Ryan & Jerianne and Avery Austin were Fred, Wilma, & Pebbles. Chad, Emily and Parker were Barney, Betty and Bamm-Bamm Rubble.

Some of McKayla's Friends dressed up and almost ready for a picture. There is Mark as Micky Mouse, McKayla butterfly fairy, Maddie as a Pink super hero, Luca as a fire man, Sydney as Fancy Nancy, and the Lion is Will Stark. And the half a person on the side is me.
Happy Halloween!

Happy Birthday Devin and McKayla

pumpkin witch

Devin and I dressed as Sandra Dee and Danny Zucco from Grease for our ward Halloween party.

Some how McKayla always seems to find some little insect friend to play with. I just wish I had taken pictures of the giant praying mantis that we caught.

What is this? No fear.

No problem. It's just hanging out on my sleeve. She trying to pull it off her shirt. I kept thinking of the movie Bugs Life when it shows the grass hopper with a sign "kid pulled my legs off" Any way such a funny photo.

hill billy boy... I mean McKayla

So I have been putting on one of my old shirts on McKayla when she wants to paint and apparently, Devin went outside with her and let her play. After an hour of chasing our neighbors cat around, she looked really scroungy. She was crawing all over the ground, under cars, and in window sills, as you see here. She looked like a sorry little boy that was never taken care of, or abandoned.

Our Little Guy is two months old

Baby Blessing Day

We Blessed Lincoln this past Sunday and were excited to have family here to share that experience with us. Devin's parents Came out from Idaho and his younger brother Derrel and his family drove from West Virgina to be with us. It was a great week end. While Devin's parents visit with us we did a lot of fun things together. Some of which was going to Gun Powder Falls and let McKayla have a first fishing experience. She caught 4 different fish.

Now we are a Family of Four.
Grandma and Grandpa Walker with Grand kids Lydia, Grant, Lincoln, McKayla and Kate.

Our trip to the inner harbor we saw lots of wild life in the water. This picture shows McKayla touching the top of a jelly fish. We also saw tons of crab and schools of fish.

Here is one of the live Jelly fish we saw.
While we spent the day down town we went to dinner that night at the Rusty Scupper. We all had fun eating and McKayla loved playing with the dinner.
