Over Due Shots of Lincoln

So somehow in the transition from Dental School to Real Life to moving twice in the last year I managed to not get any professional Pic's of Lincoln turning one. And these aren't even the 18 month mark. My little guy will soon be 2!!! In another couple of months. It's so sad. But what a fun little man he is. Making us laugh everyday. All the funny looks he gives. We are happy to have him.

Family Photos

We attempted taking some pictures of the kids but it was the end of a long day with no naps. So it didn't work out the way we had planned. But I think we still managed to get a few good ones.

Mountian Biking Fun

My Parents ride there bikes on the Mayors Walk and do a 12 mile loop so they should us the course and it was so fun and beautiful riding along the river. My dad and Devin decided to go with the kids when My mom and I were at a Zumba class. McKayla has always loved riding on Devin's Back with her feet stuck in his pants. But they had to be a little more creative with Lincoln. So My Dad found his back packing sack and stuffed him inside. Just long enough for his whole body to fit in and his head to poke out. It was a sight to remember.

St. George Fun

I have made it a point to make sure we stop by any splash park when we visit St. George. This one in the middle of town has become a favorite. Although I should think twice about the red rock and white clothes next time. WE are so happy that Cousin's Thalia and Trevor are there to aid in the excitement.

Easter Chick's

I have always wanted to get the kids some cute baby chic's for Easter. So this year instead of waking up to Candy they woke up to chirping. They were really cute. But they don't stay tiny and cute like that for long. I think by the next week they were growing feathers.

I think Lincoln may have had too tight of squeeze on the pore thing because it didn't survive very long. But we still have the other one and it looks like a miniature white hen. I haven't thought through very well what to do with it now. I guess eat it....

One little chic venturing around McKayka's Hair.

Yummy Foods

So I have been trying some new creations lately. One is from the restaurant the mouth watering Zupa's in Utah. It is one of my fav's. You can't go wrong with anything there. All there soups sandwiches and salads are the best anywhere. I made their Tomato Basil and the Wisconsin Cheddar. And my Sister in law Nicole told us to combine them together. And Yes it is fabulous. I also made their grown up cheese sandwiches which is made with Munster cheese and a pesto/mayo sauce and tomatoes. It totally competes the meal when you dip every bite in soup. Yummy.
Then I was craving something I haven't tried before and when I was watching Oprah they made some Pretzels and I thought that's what I will try. So any time I want a recipe I just type into Google Best Recipes for what ever I am looking for and it hasn't let me down. It could look a little better I suppose but they tasted fantastic so soft and chewy. All of these Recipes are super easy to make. It was a lot of fun doing something new instead of the same old stuff.

Let the Easter Festivities Begin

This year we went to the Zoo for their Easter Extravaganza. Um. Kinda busy with all the mad rush of people but great that we could see some fun animals after. We had some friends with us. Here is McKayla and Lilly.

You can't tell really But inside the middle bubble is Lincoln, McKayla and myself peeking through.
Daddy is so nice to take us down the slide Oh and he forgot his sun glasses that day so he wore mommies instead. Silly daddy. It was a really nice day though bright and sunny.

Farmer Lincoln

It's funny, Lincoln hasn't worn overalls much and Grandma gave him this cute pair that he can finally fit into and he can't stand them. He has been so used to being able to take off his clothes when ever he feels like it that he just tugs at them and wines until I take them off.

Lately we've been up to....

Landscaping. It's has been fun to dream of all the things we would like to some day do with our yard. We have decided to start with our back yard first. Devin's parents have been nice to lend us their time and talents and their equipment.

Here are some before and during project pictures and hopefully sometime in the near future some after shots. Right now we are scraping and digging to prepare the ground for grass.

So far it is just a lot of dirt. It has come along way from all the weeds. And we have had some fun in the process.

Rides with Grandpa on the tractor are better than rides at Disney land.

I am King of the hill soon to be King of the sand box.
Lots of work ahead of us but it is fun that we can do exactly what we want to do out of it. It may take us a lot of phases but we are enjoying each phase so far. Next phase will be a fence. Yeehee!
