crocheting fun.

I have been picking up crocheting again. And made McKayla some fun things. We have matching black beanie's with big flowers on the sides. This is a hand bag lined and with a rose on the front. It is an Alligator scale purse.

This one she can put over her shoulder and it has ruffles down and lined on the inside.
Here is my attempt at a ruffle ring. It turned out a little bigger than I would like so I need to get some thinner yarn next time.

McKayla has been wanting to learn how to crochet so this is what got me back into it. And then she thinks I can do anything and requests me to make all sorts of things. Thank goodness for You Tube so other people can tell me how to make them.
And of course we can't leave out McKayla's Bunny Halle. So I made a scarf for her.

This years Christmas

I have NOT done a lot of sewing in the past year with all that has been going on. So This year when I started thinking of things I could do I just kept on going.

This skirt my sister in law made for McKayla. So Cute. But she was wearing her tutu under it when I took that picture.
I made Lincoln Dino dress up stuff. A long spiky tail with a spiky hat and spiky shoes.

McKayla all year has been wanting me to make HER some flower hair clips. I make them and give them away as gifts or sell them. So I made her a bunch of her own.
A long dress. I am getting tired of her other dresses that are short.
A Petal Skirt.
A pleated ruffle skirt
A long 6 tiered skirt now that I have a surger this was way easy.
Dress up Shoes. The other ones either brake or are too small now.
Her build a bear Bunny needed clothes too. But the ones in the store are pricey. So I came up with some using my scraps I had. More of them posted on my project Blog. Click HERE.

A Little Bird house and Birdie inside.

I put more pictures of the stuff I made on my project Blog. Click HERE.

I cry the day we take the tree down.

Christmas This year My mom had the idea of doing a Bethlehem Dinner. So we ate food that would have been around during the time of Christ's Birth. And we all dressed in character.

McKayla almost had to sing the song "All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth. So here she is showing how loose they are.

New Jammie's. Always a fun tradition.

McKayla turned 6!

Never to Late for Halloween pictures right?

McKayla wanted to be a Bride and Lincoln wanted to be a Wizard.

Super Heroes and Princesses in disguise

So we love dress ups in our house although basically all of them for for girls. But Lincoln happened to find one on his own that suited him just fine. And he puts it on almost every day. I think I just need to fix it now so that it isn't a dress any more. Lincoln is always saying to me, I want to be a Prince. So stayed tuned because that's going to be my next project. Just can't decide from what time I want to use. If it will be tights and bubble pants or a sort of suit with fringe.

St. George + Winter = Happiness

I love St. George. It never fails me. Warm weather, blue skies and so many fun things to do. Devin keeps joking with me that we will get a home here some day. Maybe be one of those people who go back and forth for the seasons i.e. Snow Birds. But now I am starting to think we really will.

Morgan (Utah) + Winter = Giant Snowman

Not sure what happened to these photos to make them blurry. But you get the idea.
It looks like Devin could be crouching here but he is actually standing up holding the kids. He had to get a chair to put the snow balls on top.

Sleeping in funny ways.

Lincoln is now to that age where he doesn't want to take naps any more but really still needs them. When it gets to be between 4-5pm I have a hard time keeping him awake. And this is what I find. I thought this position was funny so I needed to document it.
