Some how McKayla always seems to find some little insect friend to play with. I just wish I had taken pictures of the giant praying mantis that we caught.

What is this? No fear.

No problem. It's just hanging out on my sleeve. She trying to pull it off her shirt. I kept thinking of the movie Bugs Life when it shows the grass hopper with a sign "kid pulled my legs off" Any way such a funny photo.

hill billy boy... I mean McKayla

So I have been putting on one of my old shirts on McKayla when she wants to paint and apparently, Devin went outside with her and let her play. After an hour of chasing our neighbors cat around, she looked really scroungy. She was crawing all over the ground, under cars, and in window sills, as you see here. She looked like a sorry little boy that was never taken care of, or abandoned.

Baby Blessing Day

We Blessed Lincoln this past Sunday and were excited to have family here to share that experience with us. Devin's parents Came out from Idaho and his younger brother Derrel and his family drove from West Virgina to be with us. It was a great week end. While Devin's parents visit with us we did a lot of fun things together. Some of which was going to Gun Powder Falls and let McKayla have a first fishing experience. She caught 4 different fish.

Now we are a Family of Four.
Grandma and Grandpa Walker with Grand kids Lydia, Grant, Lincoln, McKayla and Kate.

Our trip to the inner harbor we saw lots of wild life in the water. This picture shows McKayla touching the top of a jelly fish. We also saw tons of crab and schools of fish.

Here is one of the live Jelly fish we saw.
While we spent the day down town we went to dinner that night at the Rusty Scupper. We all had fun eating and McKayla loved playing with the dinner.

One Amazing little guy!

So Lincoln, at only 15 days old, rolled over for the first time. We laid him on his stomach and turned around to find him on his back. At first, we thought that it was an accident and he didn't realize what he was doing. But since then, he has continued doing it, one night we video taped him and he rolled over 8 times within about an hour. So now, we figure it's safe to say he has mastered rolling over from his stomach onto his back; either direction right or left. We just keep laughing to ourselves and thinking it was a fluke thing, but each day he doesn't let us down. So now, he is three weeks old and we already have to be careful where we set the little guy down.

McKayla has been so cute with Lincoln. She just loves him so much. I find her talking to him and saying things like "little buddy" or "buddy boy." She has been very helpful, getting diapers and wipes on her own when I am feeding Lincoln and she knows that comes next. It's been so fun seeing her as a big sister.

Atlantic City New Jersey Fun

Our spontaneous weekend trip to Atlantic City in New Jersey. We went to the beach south from Atlantic City called Ocean City New Jersey. It was a nice beach but very crowded. I guess it was the first sunny day in a while.

We stayed at a great campground that had lot of fun things to do. Pool and hot tub. A children's play ground and volley ball net. Every one was so nice and the grounds were well maintained and well kept. They had fun activities like hay rides and BBQ's plus water sports ice cream Sundays. It did rain one of the days we were there so that was interesting being in a tent.

We went to the Mall near by and played on the toys there and went to a pet store inside. McKayla had fun holding the puppies and she also got to hold a rare white chinchilla. They are known for their extremely soft fur. I can honestly say I have never felt anything soft then it. It was fun.

We went to Chuck E Cheese on the day it was rainy to still manage to have some fun.

A great way to spend our time waiting for Lincoln to arrive. Only one more week. We have a scheduled C-Section on Friday the 15th. Unless he decides he is ready before then.
