We climbed up the mountain behind my parents home and the kids just trekked right along with us.
This is either Yes! I did it! or I'm on top of the world! A little "Rocky" moment for ya.
And of course we need to take a break and have snack time after such a climb.
I'm not sure Lincoln is a fohawk kind of kid. But it is fun to get his hair that way using my vacuum. Every time I pull it out he has me suck his hair up in it.

So I have been on this month long vacation. It all started out going to my home town St. George for my ten year class reunion. The reunion was a blast. I decided to stay there for a couple of weeks and then found out that at the end of those weeks my parents would be driving out to see my sister Amber out in Oklahoma. So I decided since I would already be there and there was room for me and 2 kids in their car that I would hitch a ride and get to see her. It was a lot of fun to be there for a week and get to see my nephew get baptized. I am still in transition now after the long drive back to St. George and pulling into town around 2am, I am taking a day to rest for the drive back home. I am excited to be getting back to Idaho by this weekend. And I will have lots of posts of the trip.
McKayla lately has taken an interest in the Camera. We have since decided maybe playing with an expensive piece of equipment is not ok. But she got some fun pictures from it while it lasted. We'll just stick with our old cell phone cameras for now until we can find something more suitable for her age.

I should be so sad about this. After all he is the cutest little boy ever. Sorry everyone but he is. The other day McKayla said to me "mommy isn't it so sad that Lincoln is 2? It's so sad hah?" I think I need to stop saying that. Because it isn't really sad that he is two, just that time goes by so fast.
We got him some tools this year because his favorite show to watch is Handy Manny. Now he can be just like him.
Free Happy Birthday Burger From Red Robin. WE have done this every year for the past 5 years on or near everyone's birthday. Thank you red robin for the free food. It's been a tradition ever since we found out about it.
Clean me off. Lincoln doesn't like being dirty. It's kinda funny. He is all boy. But I guess I thought little boys like getting messy.
I decided to make a blog for all the yummy food I have found. We'll just have to see how that goes since I can't even keep up on my project blog and my family blog. So McKayla was looking through a catalog one day and saw a picture of Cinderella. She decided she wanted to dress up just like the picture with the rose cheeks, crown and all. Picturesque moment.
So When we we're visiting MA'mah and pahpah Walker Lincoln found this little horse and went riding around on it. He may have broke the poor thing. But it was really funny to watch.
