Lincoln apparently remembers all the time he spent in a bouncer because one day he brings McKayla'a Doll bouncer out to me in the kitchen and plops right on it and just thought it was so fun. And I thought he was so funny, good thing my camera was right next to me when he did it.

More Silliness
Say CHEEEEEEZE!
So McKayla use this play phone that has a button that make the pretend sound for taking pictures. And goes around the house trying to find people to "say cheese" to the camera. Mean While Lincoln's favorite thing to ask for is Cheese. He signs it with his hands and says EEZ. So to put that combination together McKayla finally got Lincoln to give the cheesiet face ever. More funny than anything. So I caught a couple of the times she got him to do it.
Also Lincoln's favorite thing right now is to carry a ball with him every where he goes. And it doesn't matter what kind or how BIG or how small it may be. He loves them. And I love that I didn't have to teach it to him. Because I know nothing when it comes to all the boys things.

Beautiful
St. George didn't let me down. Warm weather in the 60's the whole week, no clouds and just beautiful blue skies. I loved it. Although my kids and I got sick I was only under a couple of days but McKayla was coughing and then fever for several days. Lincoln was Mr. runny nose the whole time. But the worst is sharing a room with a child coughing all night and then crying about it. I felt bad there wasn't more I could do. Until I finally had Devin call in a prescription for an antibiotic at the end of the trip. But at least we were able to see some people. I sadly didn't get around to everyone. Kind of a bummer. But I just keep telling myself I will be back down in May and I might even be there for 3 weeks. So better luck next time.

Heads Up! For the week of the 15th

For all you St. George Friends. I am coming to Town. Devin has a reunion in Northern Utah and it is too hard to drive that far and not go the rest of the way to my sunny St. George. It better not let me down, I am ready for some enjoyable outside weather. And a week will go by fast but would love to see everyone I can. Let me know if you are around and available. I am so excited to be back down there. If feels my soul with joy to be there. I truly think, for me at least, that it is one of the happiest place to be. You can't help but feel happiness there. I am just glad my family still lives there and I get to visit such a wonderful place.

Funny things
I guess boys aren't so bad after all
Lincoln has been such a fun little boy to have around. I was soo nervous to have a boy. And I guess in some ways I still am nervous. But nothing could have prepared me for how he has turned out so far. He is such a good boy. And man, does he have the most beautiful eyes ever! Sorry buddy but they are. they just pop right out at you. He is such a giggle machine, it is fun to get him going. I love that no matter how rough a day is going he can always cheer me up just by looking at me. Bring on the boys, if they are all like Lincoln that is. I can't stand how fast he is growing up.

What a Boy!
I can't believe what a boy Lincoln is. No body teaches him these things. I mean, my goodness, he is at home with me all day the most girlie girl you can find. And I don't know the names of all the trucks out there. I once called a dump truck a dumpster, by mistake, of course. But really where does it come from. I came around the corner to see Devin working on a door project and Lincoln was sprawled out helping dad. He found himself a tool and then got down on his belly and stuck the tool right on a screw. It's just in them and it has been fun to see that side come out even though he watches me and McKayla paint our Finger nails and do our hair and make up all day.

Projects
So My Sister in Law Stacey has a Vinyl Lettering Business and I have ordered things from her over the years and basically collected them and held on to them until I could put them in a more permanent place. So here is what I have done.
This obviously is in Lincoln's room above his changing table. I'm thinking I might move it to go above his Crib instead.

Sorting out life one load at a time
This one I planned on putting on a board painted Black so I am still figuring out what to do with it. But it is in the Kids Bathroom.

I found this doll house book case at Roberts Crafts store in St. George for 75% off. So I purchased it and strapped it to the top of my passat and drove 12 hours in 2 days to bring it back to Idaho where I painted it White and Pink added some cute baskets that were half off at Micheal's Craft store and finally added all the other items into it.
And one day I was planning on putting up McKayla's name ABOVE the Doll house on the wall. I collected the letters and modge podge some scrap paper to it. Just as I had everything out to start nailing them to the wall my new relief society presidency showed up at my door. So as we were visiting McKayla was busy helping me out with my project.
I came walking into her room just as she was nailing up the last nail and then proceeded to hang up the last letter all of which had been done ON the roof of the doll house. I really under estimate her. She can do anything she puts her mind to. This was done sometime the first of December and is still like this today. I just don't want to deal with having to refinish all the work I did before. And not sure where to start.

Snow Day
Man, I had no idea about the weather in Boise. But apparently the snow doesn't stick around for very long here. It will snow one day and the next day it melts away. So playing in it is hard to do. We had to scrape up enough snow to make this tiny snow man. Nothing like the 7 foot one Devin made in Wisconsin. The kids didn't care they were busy eating what snow there was left.
